For our Global Customer Analytics (CA) department, we offer the position of Scaled Analytics Expert. This position will be based in any of our major Pfizer locations in Europe. As a team, we collaborate to turn data into meaningful insights in the future of Pfizer and as a data-driven organization As our new Scaled Analytics Expert you will be responsible driving insights through secondary data analysis for sales and marketing teams, by using state of the art data science tools and techniques. This is what you can look forward to:
- Develop and implement sound, objective secondary data analysis on marketing and field force promotional effort
- Mine large pharmaceutical databases to identify opportunities, trend breaks or emerging issues
- Provide expertise on utilizing secondary data (prescriber/institutional level, payer, longitudinal, specialty pharmacy, Multi-Channel activity, digital) for analysis and reporting
- Determine key performance metrics and develop tracking assets on which to evaluate commercial initiatives
- Partner with other Customer Analytics colleagues to provide holistic insights based on available secondary and primary research
- Participate in cross functional projects which requires advanced analytics, such as Promotional Effectiveness, ROI and Customer Analytics
- Partners with internal colleagues (Pfizer Digital and GCO) in the delivery of projects
- Be accountable for the analytics work done by third party vendors
For this position, we expect you to travel 25% of the time and we do not offer relocation
What you offer:
Education: Bachelor's degree is required
Experience:
- 3-5- years as a sales/marketing quantitative analyst
- Hands on working experience, analyzing large pharmaceutical secondary datasets and developing analytical models
- Data Science and solving real-world analytical problems using machine learning, statistical modeling, or similar quantitative approaches
- Demonstrated proficiency in a programming language or analytic tool such as R, SQL, SAS, Tableau, DSS, Alteryx
Language skills: Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Other competencies:
- You are an involved and communicative person who builds robust and long-term strategic relationships
- When required, you are able to translate complex initiatives into detailed component parts and to sequence actions appropriately
- Depending on the situation, you are capable to work as a proactive self-starter
- You are very interested in cutting-edge applications of data and like to stay abreast of analytical trends
